The active constituants in this serum is the terpenoid
chamazulene, which is found in the essential oils of the steam distilled flower heads. The true blue! I've extracted this terp from Yarrow, and Wormwood as well. Some of you that have the Psychic Eye hydrosol will have this terp in smaller amounts in your fluid!
So what is chamazulene used for? It is used to treat inflammation, redness, irritation, skin conditions such as psoriasis, it's also aromatic and used to calm the nervous system. Chamazulene has a softening and soothing effect on the skin [Bonus!]
Tanacetum annuum or Blue Tansy contains chamazulene as well, but it also contains camphor. In studies camphor has shown itself to be a workhorse, helping to repair damaged skin [UV, Burns]. Based on studies, researchers suggest that it is a powerful agent for wound healing and even for wrinkles!

How To Use:
Wash face with your favorite cleanser, and gently dry skin. Apply one to two drops into hands and massage into face and neck with an upward circular motion. Allow it to soak in for about 5-10 min, and then follow with your favorite SPF moisturizer if desired.
