Here, we study the craft as it has always existed: rooted in the land, refined through repetition, and guided by the intelligence of plants, planets, and process.

I’m Janae Monroe, founder of Sage Haven Botanicals. I live on the Pacific Northwest coast of California, just 20 min. from the Oregon border, where the forests, mushrooms, and lichens are some of my greatest teachers.

My path into herbalism began with a breast cancer diagnosis, which became a turning point that led me away from pharmaceuticals and toward plant medicine and natural healing. Before that, I spent ten years as a licensed cosmetologist, eventually leaving the industry due to chemical sensitivities that further shaped my devotion to clean, living medicine.

I am self-taught and have spent over a decade deeply immersed in medicinal plants and forest beings, studying with urgency, devotion, and respect. What began as survival slowly became service, as friends and family sought out my remedies and encouraged me to share my work more widely.

Eight years ago, that encouragement grew into Sage Haven Botanicals. Today, I’m honored to share what I’ve learned and to co-create this beautiful learning community alongside Danielle. I look forward to walking this path with you.

I’m Danielle Newman-Stiles, founder and creator of Wyldehaer Arts. Born in London and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I now live where the Redwoods meet the Pacific Ocean with my family and our shy black cat. After a 20+ year career as an Executive Assistant in high-tech, I turned my passionate side-hustle into my full-time path 3 years ago!

I’m a lifelong student of the mystical and natural worlds. I have a science degree in viticulture and enology, so my relationship with fermentation, and Farming Practices is very hands on, and rooted in the “Intuitive Green Thumb”. I’m a long time practitioner of the occult arts since 1993, and astrology since 1990. My creative life is anchored in herbalism, alchemy, sacred craft, and community building. I make tinctures, talismans, Art, do Astrology readings, and offerings aligned with cosmology for personal transformation.

My work blends artistry with spirit and nature. I help people connect with themselves and the cycles around them through art, astrology, plant wisdom, and ritual.

Wyldehaer is my magickal name, a symbol of wild wisdom, rooted in years of practice, exploration, and devotion to greater service.

I am thrilled to be here in the AOA , co weaving our sacred container with janae and kindreds!
